Baofeng UV-82 Dual Band Walkie Talkie 1-Pack – VHF/UHF

Description

Baofeng UV-82 Dual Band VHF/UHF Walkie Talkie – 1 Piece Set

The Baofeng UV-82 Walkie Talkie 1-Pack provides two rechargeable dual-band handheld radios for convenient team communication in security, construction, hospitality, events, facilities management and outdoor applications.

Unlike simpler single-band radios, the UV-82 provides VHF and UHF operation, an LCD display, programmable channels and a distinctive dual PTT system.

Dual-Band VHF/UHF Radio

The Baofeng UV-82 is a dual-band handheld transceiver supporting VHF and UHF operation. This gives the radio greater configuration flexibility for compatible licensed or permitted radio communications.

Dual PTT Operation

A key feature of the UV-82 is its dual push-to-talk (PTT) design. The radio can monitor two configured frequencies and provides separate PTT controls for convenient communication.

Up to 128 Memory Channels

The UV-82 provides up to 128 programmable memory channels, making it suitable for users who need multiple configured channels or frequencies.

The radio can also be programmed using compatible PC programming software and the appropriate programming cable.

Selectable 5W / 1W Transmit Power

The UV-82 provides selectable 5W high-power and 1W low-power transmission settings. Low power can be useful for shorter-range communication, while high power is available where additional transmission capability is required.

Long-Range Communication

This UV-82 package is commonly marketed with an up to 10km communication range under favourable open conditions.

10km should not be considered a guaranteed operating distance. Actual range depends on terrain, buildings, hills, vegetation, antenna position, radio interference and other environmental factors. Dense urban environments can substantially reduce range.

Rechargeable 1800mAh Battery

Baofeng specifies a 7.4V 1800mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery for the current UV-82. Each radio in this two-piece package includes its own desktop charging solution.

VOX Hands-Free Communication

The built-in VOX function provides voice-operated transmission when appropriately configured, supporting applications where hands-free radio operation is useful.
